Nice, so did you glue the fret board or was that just for show?
The fretboard is just for show right now. I still have to permanently install the truss rod but that will happen in a day or so. Tomorrow is mowing day. . .yuck.
Ok, I know I'm late to the party, but I just caught up on the progress. Looking pretty nice so far! So I have a dumb question... the neck looks pretty thick. I assume you're going to pare it down? And by 'thick' I mean depth, not width.
Yes, the neck will be profiled down on the back. I am waiting until I attach the body wings before doing so. First off it will be easier to clamp the fretboard down while gluing if the back of the neck is square and second I have to make a smooth transition between the body and the heel of the neck.
