Sadly, the first person I thought of when I saw this was Jer. Altho I must admit that I have been feeling like this myself a bit lately. I particularly identify with the guy who chucks his monitor over the cube wall. Unfortunately, I only have 1 monitor to chuck, so I'd have to decide on which numbnut to hit with it.
I really liked the old guy that had paper airplanes thrown at him so he threw his monitor over the wall. THEN he just went back to typing away like his monitor was still there!
No. Sad to say I'm not kidding. I'm seeing this as a reaction to a fairly common condition, and the fact that it's probably common is what fuels my sadness.
The thought that people are in such hopeless professional situations makes me want to vomit. Seriously. The notion that this is common makes me sad for humanity.

Um . . . let's hope not.
That's like Office Space, but without the funny. Kind of sad, and really . . . well, sad.
I laughed my ass off at this! I think you must be kidding.

Sorry, but I'm serious about this one. Blergh.
